WHY ARE WE DOING THIS

As more and more initiatives are implemented to meet the aspiration of the Construction Industry Transformation Programme, the need for credible, quality big data becomes greater. Reliable and quality big data can assist in increasing productivity and enhancing value within the construction industry.

In this 3rd installation of SICA, various stakeholders across the construction supply chain such as contractors, consultants, developers, finance and economic researchers will come together and explore the way forward in creating value to both construction data and statistics.

The highlights for SICA 2017 are the opening keynote by YB Dato' Sri Haji Fadhillah Haji Yusof, Minister of Works Malaysia; and a half-day forum which aims to explore the current scenario on big data compilation and utilisation, as well as addressing concerns of industry stakeholders and players.
