Definition
M&E components price is defined as the transactions price between the Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) contractors and the suppliers under the normal credit terms specified and discount for an average M&E contractor, taking care of normal discount given to its clients inclusive of all necessary taxes if applicable, payable to the government and the transportation costs within practicable distances as well as profit.
The objectives of this publication is to provides some information on the current prices of M&E components in M&E Works as a guide for construction industry players, stakeholder, investors and as well as for public. These information and resources is of vital important in monitoring the prices of M&E components in M&E Works and it will enhance the construction industry information system.
