INTRODUCTION TO SICA 2018
The Statistics Indices in Construction & Automation (SICA)2018, is a half day forum that focussed on the efforts in collating statistics and indices for the construction industry whereby the automation of these data aims to provide effective ways to increase the efficiency of contractors and industry stakeholders in implementing their businesses, that ultimately improves the productivity and profits across the supply chain.
OBJECTIVES
To gain more insights on current statistics and indices practices and applications available in the market and how various industry players can benefit from the big data analytics in their businesses;
To provide a platform for the industry stakeholders to highlight and discuss the latest development in big data analytics;
To promote the importance of credible and reliable data in establishing a bencemark that will contribute to the policy formulation and business planning within the construction industry; and
To promote responsible big data analytics practices that are in accordance with legal and regulatory requirement of the government of Malaysia.
